If what is bothering you is not on this list, call the office. The evaluation covers whatever you come in with.

How the visit works

What actually happens when you come in

  1. Find the source before treating it

Joint pain frequently refers from somewhere else: a shoulder that hurts because of the neck, a hip that hurts because of the back. The evaluation is designed to sort that out.

  2. Ultrasound-guided injection when indicated

Injections into or around a joint are placed under ultrasound guidance where guidance improves accuracy. Corticosteroid and trigger-point injections are among the options discussed.

  3. Coordinated with the rest of your care

We work alongside physical therapy and your primary care physician rather than replacing them, and we send notes back to whoever referred you.
